I just bought a nintendo ds lite, and I found this game (animal crossing wild world) very interesting, we can design our own clothes, place items in our house, be friends with some animals, the game even had feng shui too, it is almost the same with harvest moon, but in this game we don't have to do farming. Has anyone here play it yet or know somwthing about this game? I need some advice and tricks to play this game. Thanks

I had animal crossing wild world a month after it came out. I was so excited. And when I finally got to play it with wifi, the real fun began. However, some people were rude. But there were a lot of people that were helpful. Here's a website that I found very usseful: http://www.animalcrossingcommunity.com/ It's a great community! If you are trying to pay off things, flea markets are awesome. I once sold a fossil for about 4500 bells. Your neighbors will buy the fishes too! I made bells through fishing, fossils, and fruit. Hope you have fun with the game!

Well, this is a great game. Personally, there wasn't enough space for designing patterns and whatnot for me. Anyways, this game is meant to be played in short bursts, and not too much at a time. There's plenty to do. Basically this is a "liesure" game where you're not meant to stress out while playing it. I'm really not sure what tips and tricks you're looking for. I guess the main point of this game is being able to play with others to show off your town and whatnot. It's been a while since I've played the game, myself, but my advice to not get worn out on the game too quickly is to play it for only short moments at a time, and to not let the game feel too much like a chore to you when there are things you're aiming to do, like gardening or making money. Therre's nothing really challenging, except for finding people to connect with.

I got given it as an anniversary present. The DS lite was a birthday present 2 weeks before and my OH bought a WiFiMax to connect to the pc. I did wonder why he bought the wifi when my other games dont need it. I only twigged a week after getting Animal Crossing! I've been playing it for nearly 3 weeks now. My Flower Festival is on right now. If you want to make more money you need to get hold of non native fruit and replace most of your native fruit trees. You can write letters to your townsfolk and ask for fruit, coconuts may wash up on the beach at times. I went to other people's towns and got some fruit from them. The fruit that is not native fruit sells at Tom Nook's for 500 bells a piece but your native fruit only sells for 100 bells a piece. Go shake all your trees once a day, some trees will drop a bag out of them. Pick these up and then go to your inventory screen and drag the bells to the bit where it has your total money, it will add them to your balance. 4 trees will drop a bees nest, you will get stung! This doesnt actually harm you at all. To get rid of the stings just save and start the game again. You dont have to go back to your house to save, just press the start and then select the save and end option. If you send letters to your townsfolk it keeps them happy and they may give you stuff. Oh and with the trees you will get some stuff falling out. It looks like a big leaf, pick it up and if its something you dont want to keep just sell it at Tom Nooks. Fishing is another way to make money as is collecting shells. There arent really any cheats that I have found. If you time travel, ie change the date on the game, then you can go back and forth to collect stuff, but this can cause problems with the game so not recommended.

I'm actually playing this game right now. It's a pretty good game, but like everyone else has said, it's really a game that's meant to be played in short doses, otherwise, it gets boring. Sometimes I wish there was more ways to make money because I'll feel like making money, and I'll ahve run out of things to do. However, it's not really a bad game. I suppose I haven't tried gardening or whatever yet, though, so that would be my next line of business. I only have 94,000 left on my loan to Tom Nooks as well, which is pretty awesome, but my other housemate helped me pay that off, so that's why that's such a low number compared to it in the beginning.

hello! i'm playing it now! i love this game! but i should warn you though, it's really addictive hehe! i've been playing it on and off since early this year. as for tips, there are all these rocks around your town. get out your shovel, dig two holes in this fashion around the rock: o=hole, r=rock, x=your character o ox r position your character on the x and hit the rock repeatedly while bellbags pop out. hit the rock more than 7 times always just in case you get lucky and get an 8th bell bag. usually only seven pop out. you'll get a total of 8500 bells. sometimes is a tree or a wall in the o position with which you may brace yourself against it instead of the hole. you can do this with only 1 bellrock per day per character. heheh hope this helps!
