What are your views on this subject? For myself, if I were ever to be put on life support for whatever reason, I would not be happy. I have made it clear to my hubby should that ever happen, I would appreciate it if he were to unplug me. I do not see the point in being hooked up onto machines to live. Whats the point? What are your views and what would you prefer?

When my mom went to coma, we did put her in life support. Of course we where hoping for the best, a miracle. We didn't care for the expense. We where just clinging on that little hope left. After a week of no improvement, we let her go. We could see how tired she is. The machine breathe for her, after it was unplugged, she was gone. I think I can allow it to happen to me but only for a week. There's still hope for waking up within that time. But after a week they should let me go.
