Does Pay Pal transfer after its $150 in India?

Hi I have heard that paypal transfers the money only after its more than $150 especially in India. I am around $8 or so after 3 weeks and soon would have $10 in my account. I am very eager to receive my first payment as I need some money also. Could anybody suggest me their experiences about paypal in India? Thanks in advance!!!

You can actually request for payment from paypal once you reach $150, but for that you need to have added your credit card with your paypal account, else they will not send it as yours is not a verified customer, so first a credit card to your account and await for the amount to reach $150.

this is great info! but i have one question...if i do not possess a credit card,then there is no way that i can withdraw money from paypal? i'm an indian citizen. so shud i go for e-gold? and does it have the same hurdle? plz lemme know if you can help me out.

After getting more than 155$ into Paypal account , Indians can ask for a Bank cheque for 150$ . 5$ is Paypal fees . And Paypal can send Bank Cheque in Indian Rupees . You can credit the Paypal cheque into any of your Indian Bank account .
