In Africa Men Marry more than one wife. In fact my own father married four women. As we children grew-up we have grown to hate pologamy because we no the problems asociated with it, besides being biblically wrong. Yesterday, as I was preaching somewhere, I cam across a moslem woman who said it is ok in her religion for men to marry upto four wives. my concern was. It is ok with women, Can some woman out there clear this, I mean can you be a co-wife?

It is against the law in the USA. It is called polygamy and though some Mormon and some not carry on this way. There is success touted by them and the law often punishes them. The religion I am familiar with says a man and a woman. So though I think it might be a workable arrangement it is not for me.

I have joked many times about sharing my husband with another woman so she can do the things that I don't care for. But it is just a joke. In the end I just don't think I could emotionally handle it. I would have trouble if I wanted to spend time with my husband and he wanted to spend time with his other wife. I know there are many people who cna handle this, but I am not that strong I guess. Even though there are times I wish my husband had someone else, I still like knowing that at the ned of the day he is coming home to me and only me.
