Are you an animal lover, but still a non-vegetarian???

About me, I won't call myself a true animal lover though I don't harm them. I don't have pets . I'm a non-vegetarian, but i eat selected items like chicken,beef and pork only. These are the only non-veg food that I take. What about you? Are you an animal lover and a non- vegetarian too???

harming the animal is different from loving the animal which is again different from being a vegetarian which is again different from non vegetarian . your discussion is totally confusing .
i am lover of animals and i hav many pets too . but i am a pure vegetarian . am i wrong any where ? pls comment

I am like you - just an average animal loving person. I won't go out of my way to kill animals for the fun of it - even snakes and insects. But I do eat poultry, pork, mutton and beef besides vegetables. I guess when we are brought up to eat these foods, we don't usually change our tastes unless it goes against our personal beliefs as we grow up and decide which paths to take in life.
