I appreciate your appeal and agree with your opinion about the democrasy too. The main aspect you high lighted is about the corruption. Please don't mind my words, that's the way I'll explain. The corruption first starts when you are a new born in this world that too from the mother itself. You will ask me how? See, when a child starts crying for some thing to get or possess or without any perticular cause. A mother offers him a bribe to deflect him from his intentions of crying. So the descipline of remaining stuck to the intention is thus gets spoiled. This & similar bribe slowly teaches him the lessons of gains, though not intended but can be recieved in an otherwise manner. The child slowly grows takes similar lessons in various fields and becomes a expert in accepting the favor for just keeping quite. When you take some position, then you don't hesitate in accepting the "Corruption" to accomodate the immoral deals and settle a deal for mutual gains. Could you understand my appeal? Will the mother beat her child hard to make him stop crying & to remain quite for a while? Will the teachers stop excusing students for their bad behavior and irregularities in the studies? You verify this with some corrept and non-corrupt persons, you will find the child was not brought up in a disciplined manner, as I narreted the way it should have been. Here is where the corruption starts man!!!!!!! And try to stop it at your home with the help of your wife itself. ok? You can't culture the grown up devils now!!!!!!!

India became independent in 1947 and a republic in 1950 with a parliamentary form of democratic government, elected on the basis of universal adult franchise. India, world's largest democracy, is a union of 28 States and 6 union territories. India, a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic, is governed in terms of a constitution, adopted by a constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949 and put into force in January 26, 1950. The Constitution of India provides for a single and uniform citizenship for whole country. The constitution offers all citizens individually and collectively some basic freedoms. These are 1) right to equality, 2) right to freedom of speech and expression, 3) right against exploitation, 4) right to freedom of conscience and free profession, practice and propagation of religion, 5) right of any section of citizens to conserve their culture, language or script and right of minorities to establish and administer educational institutions of their choice and 6) right to constitutional remedies for enforcement of fundamental rights. Fundamental duties enjoin upon a citizen among other things to abide by the constitution, to cherish and follow noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom, to defend the country and render national services when called upon to do so and to promote harmony and spirit of common brotherhood amongst all people transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional diversities. Why did I tell you all this? Because most of us when we talk of democracy, don't really understand the amount of fundamental rights that have been given to us and the duties we need to abide by!
