My 5 year old daughters class is having their Valentine's Day party on the 12th as there will be no school on Valentine's Day because of a Teachers conference. So we went shopping today and she is in grade 1 so her Teacher sent her home a list of her classrooms names and the notice for their party. So we bought snacks for her party and i for the first time as a parent had to buy Valentines Day cards i was excited ... LOL!!! The cutest part is she is the youngest in her class and one of the top students and will not be six until May. She used the list of names that her Teacher had typed out and she wrote in total 21 Valentines Day cards out and put who they were from. She did it in no time at all too and i was super impressed. Filled out 21 Cards in a matter of half an hour i thought that this was rather good for her age. I guess i finally get to experience new things as a parent with her being in gr 1 now and i find it awesome!!!

Oh dear this is lovely for your little daughter, it is lovely to get involved with our children especially when they are young and you will have a lot of memories for this special day and it is a nice idea that her school will be celebrating Valentine's Day. I bet you are impressed with your daughter, and so would I be as a mother so I don't blame you at all. It is lovely that you have such a bright daughter at her age, I don't blame you for feeling awesome you have only just stared feeling this way in regards to your young daughter but God bless her and I do hope that she keeps up and succeeeds in her own life!!

This is so cool. Little kids get teh biggest kick out of what we adults think is the "little things".

I remember those days. What fun it was. I just have to wait for grandchildren to be able to relive all those wonderful memories. My boys were excited about the prospect of Valentin's Day and the cards that they would recieve in turn for their cards.
It seems like such a long time ago that I baked cupcakes for a class party. Poor me....I miss my little boys. :(
