Hello I can't get you, Whether your screen size increase with normal icons , or the ICons with Screen is big If Both are looking Big , just increase the Screen Resolution to 1024x786 .if only screen size is big just reduce the screen by Monitor Setting, or you can use The Recall Button in Monitor.
