For desktop or home use,Linux is very cheap or free, windows is expensive. For server use,Linux is very cheap compared to windows.Microsoft allows a single copy of windows to be used on only one computer.Starting with Windows XP,they use software to enforce this rule(Windows Product Activation first, then Genuie Windows),once you have purchased Linux, you can run it on any number of computers for no additional charge. So why do we more recommend for Linux?Justify your answer...

linux has not gone deep routed - linux Vs Windows
i prefer windows to linux. because i dont know linux. of course i can learn it. but hardware installation is very difficult in linux. even if i need help in installation i will get few linux knowing people where i live. the point is, windows is deep routed and there are many people to help. but linux has not gone into remote towns/ villages and you find lesser no. of linux professionals.
