Bletilla Striata

We went on our Saterday shopping spree, and made a turn at the nursery, as usual. I purchased a Bletilla Striata or Chinese ground orchid. It is supposed to be a very hardy plant, able to withstand frost. I live in Namibia, and it is seldom very cold here, actually we have a dry, hot climate. I've potted the orchid and will keep it in shade on my patio. Now I have to patently wait until spring (September) to see if this beauty will flower for me. Have any of the other mylotian gardners had success with this orchid?
