anime shows that tickled your funny bone

i don't think this one needs any explanation because there are heaps of terrific anime comedies out there. you can list your favorite here :)
some of my favorite anime comedy shows are:
1. School Rumble -- a couple of episodes really cracked me up, as in I literally rolled off my seat gasping and laughing at the same time
2. Slam Dunk -- that 1-on-1 game between Hanamichi and Gori is a classic!
3. Fruits Basket -- there is this one episode where Shigure, Yuki and Kyou had a series of 'accidental' transformation while they had visitors...

If you really love animes that have lots of comedy on it, you can try the Full Metal Panic, this is much different from Full Metal Alchemist.
There are two main characters in that anime series, Sgt. Sagara and Kaname. Try the Fullmetal Fumofu, that series focus on their misadventures and it show how Sgt. Sagara lacks knowledge of the real world, outside the battle area.
You can see here that although, Sgt. Sagara is an Specialist in combat and pilotting mechanical robots or AS, you will see how naive he is on copping with the simple living. Its hard for him to be a normal guy.

yeah i have this too (all 3 of 'em). i like fumofo (can't recall the spelling) best because the real focus is on comedy, and i like seeing sosuke sagara sweat things out

i've just watched 6 episodes of this series, and i mean to finish the whole show (26 eps). it's a bit silly but i have this foolish grin on my face

I'm a bit on the lighter side. I think the anime that made me laugh a whole lot was Akazukin ChaCha. I don't think that there is ever an episode that didn't make me laugh out loud.
