Why there are mistress??

Why there are woman inspite of they know the man they are dating is already commited, why they still go for a date and at the end become mistress?? Is it good to just stay away and dont ever let your self to develope to a guy specially if you know he is already married? What can you say about this, and what is your views about this??

Sometimes it is just impossible to stay away. If it is just lust, you can get over it, but if there is a real friendship/connection that might not be possible.
I don't like it, but I have been a "mistress". I don't even like that word with all it's negative connotations. I think that it was wrong and I wouldn't do it again.
Sometimes I justify it by saying that there was really something there, because we are still together and he is going through a divorce. But that isn't a good enough excuse for even me.

I think for me if you knew that a person is already married you better stay away in that person for it can also happened to you that the same man will have another mistress for it is his nature. Sometimes man just look excuses to have mistress.
