whatever you do, no pacer will be the best untill you make good pitches in india. we have very terrible pitches. we can play only on homeland, when we go outside, we are nothing but looooosers. sorry to say but this is the fact. i love my country but these things annoys me a lot. politicians have made this cricket dirty. i just hate them.

Ya I do agree with you the main problem is with fitness, in India fast bowlers dont put much effort on the fitness thats where they will face injury problems latest one is Munaf, he is brilliant prospect for INDIA but he always struggles with injuries.

Yes ofcourse! One of the reasons may be due to lack of resources. BCCI being the richest cricket board in the world they donot provide a good bowling coach. Moreover our tracks are batsmen favoured. There are so many reasons.

i think zaheer khan was performed well.he was out of forum only for sometime.pathan also a good swinger of the ball if he got the swing right he is a wicket taker.

because our bowlers are mainly bred on spinner friendly pitches so we dont have quality fast bowlers .....bowlers like nehra and balaji were plagued by injuries throughout their life.....nowmmunaf is geting along well sreesanth is not that dangerous in one dayers so only munaf can replace srinath

Hi, in my opinion it is due to the following reasons. 1. The number of odi and testmatches per calender year have increased significantly for marketing reasons, giving little time for the players to take rest. When they are no international matches, they have to bowl in domestic matches. 2. BCCI, in spite of making money in crores as profit year after year, has not bothered to fix a permanent bowling coach till date. A bowling coach is very valuable in guiding the bowlers in many aspects including how to avoid injuries. 3. Constitutionally our bowlers are less muscular when compared to the international standards. This is due to the diet habits of indians who take less than adequate protein in their growing years. 4. Apart from bowling in the nets to increase their skills, habitual bowling to batsmen in net practice is to be avoided. For the same purpose, local lads may be used, thus preserving the bowlers for match situations. 5. Pace bowlers need special nutrition. Ideally a team sports medicine consultant and nutritionist should function in unison to improve their strength and stamina. 6. Cricket loving public are also at fault. The pace bowlers, in spite of exerting maximum on field, do not get as much appreciation as their batsmen. So, the willingness to become a pace bowler is comparatively less in india. That's why quality pace bowlers are always scarce in india. 6. The last mistake is committed by pace bowlers themselves. Whatever little rest they get, they spoil it in endorsement committments instead of spending that time taking rest or relaxing with family. Thereby they break down easily with some injury when playing. Thanks.
