Why world people feels warmth in winter like GLOBAL WARMING?

Many Industries making Air-conditioner's for Natural Warmth. In Winter there is no need of AC's, but still media with big Tabloid's stating the 'Global Warming'. What is all about? Why they don't feel shy for saying warmth in winter? Is there any meaning for it......
