What are the newest innovations with mobile content?

Quite recently, I have been accepted into a company that handles mobile content. Problem is, I'm not really updated about it (they hired me for my background in multimedia design). Considering that I have fallen out of the cellphone hype like 3 years ago (my last phone was the Nokia 6600), during that time, the mobile content were mostly polyphonic tones, wallpapers, themes, and games. Please if there are any new and nifty innovations with regards to mobile content (anywhere in the world), post it here. I'd really appreciate the help. =)
