how much safe is it to give credit card number in the internet for purchase.

many people are saying there are internet hackers who can find ur credit card numbers.so how much safe is it to give ur credit card to them. are there any secured sites for which we can give............if so how can we know that they are secure

The sites which are secure will display the appropriate signs. Yes there is a lot of credit card fraud and it isn't confined to the internet but if you do use it online then make sure it is on a secure site. Also if using it for personal purchases, do not let it out of your sight at any time which will reduce the risk of the card being 'skimmed' and details being obtained by fraudster. :)
