I'm a Chinese's college student. My major is software.I have learned c,c++,ect. And i have the same feelings with you. However,i think when you become an expert in this filed, you may have an interview with the big firms, such as Microsoft or IBM and so on. You future will be bright as long as you work hard in colledge. As a Chinese student i firmly believe that nothing is impossible as long as you put your heart into it.Never give up! I will work hard too!

Well, matanjing, what do you wanna do? C++ and C would not give you a high paid or high end job in the open market as it is currently. You gain a wealth of knowledge doing that, so it makes it easier to adapt to techonology. If you want programming language, stay up to date with the latest technology and the two big money maker out there right now is C# on the microsoft arena and the similar salary job for Java. Good luck to you, mataanjing130905.
