What would your cat say if it could talk?

What do you think your cat is trying to tell you? Do they ever come up to you and meow and expect you to follow them? I have one that does this and she always runs to one one the sinks in the house because she wants a drink of water. Other times I have no idea what they want I guess I am just supposed to follow them. I often ask them ( whats wrong Lassie Is Timmy in the well Ha Ha )

My cats are not very talkative. Most of the time when they say something, we know what they are saying. Sometimes they say "pet me". Most of the time the only time they talk is right when my husband gets home and when they are ready to eat. They don't think that we feed them fast enough when we feed them their wet food. They seem to be saying "hurry, hurry".

I can totally relate to impatient kitties! Our cat will herd you to his empty bowls if you don't notice it soon enough! I can sometimes almost hear him muttering "look at my bowl, look at my bowl!" :-)

i think if my cat could speak he would tell me to back of and give him some space cause i am always playing and cuddling him cause i love him so much! he would also probably ask for more food, and pose the question why dont you always let me sleep in your bed? wink, wink!

She would say why won't this kitten leave me alone! I have a kitten that terrorizes my cat and my dog. I am working on it, but I can tell she is not happy with him! I can also tell he thinks he is top cat of the house and nobody will let him be!

This is an awesome question! I am always having to translate for my family what our beloved black cat, Dobby, is trying to relate to them. I honestly believe that he is quite sarcastic and a bit neurotic! He is "my" 20th cat, but he is my daughter's 3rd. He is also our first "lap cat" (I never knew they existed!). He cannot be left alone in any room. If all three of us are home, he has to be in the same room as one of us. My daughter will not let him in her room as he attacks the posters on her wall. If my husband is in his recliner then Dobby prefers to sit with him on the recliner. However, he refuses to sit alone on the seat. If my husband and I are on the computer, he will lay on the floor between us, no matter how much space is there! But if I am in my bedroom while hubby is on the computer then Dobby has to be in my bedroom. If I close the door, he will panic. He literally panics, going around in circles in front of the door, meowing (yelling open the door I want in, what are you thinking?). My hubby has watched him do circles for two minutes at a time. Then Dobby will begin pushing on the door on his hindlegs, as if he is trying to push the door open. Then he will begin circling and yelling again. If you take too long to open the door for him, then he will begin trying to dig his way thru underneath the door (not like it's possible!). He has ruined this rentals carpet and I know I will have to replace one room's worth (so far!). When you first come home, he will harass you and try to trip you until you reach down and pet him. If you go too long without acknowledging him, he will bite your feet. His favorite greeting is to allow him to touch his nose to yours! I think if he could talk, his first words would be "Are you listening to me?"
