i have read almost many books for my age, or not, but the again what knowledge and information i have recieved from books is incomparable to what people usually gossip about. books with works swarming before your eyes, paint a picture so real, once you are engrossed in it, its impossible not to delve in it deeper. i want to know if others feel the same?

Hi In todays Era the place of books have been taken by internet .... every thing is on internet and also we are not getting quality books like we used to get some 4 or 5 years back ....Even the college books are replaced by computer encyclopedia etc.

I feel that reading habit among people is reducing at a high rate because people feel it more comfortable to watch tv and read stuffs on the net than reading books. We have news channels with readymade information and movies with wondeful stories. But to develop our imagination one should read books

I love to read, but I do think people don't read books the way they once did because of TV, music on demand and the internet. A good book carries you away, as you said. There's nothing like it.
