Ouch!

So I take my girl to the clinic this morning because she had a toe nail that had grown in a complete circle and was cutting into her nail bed..Ouch! The doctor used a needle to deaden her toe, thought she was going to punch him...Ouch! Then after about 10 minutes took some special pliers and removed the toe nail...Ouch!
Have you ever had a nail removed or any other interesting medical procedures?

Eek that sounds scary!!
I had a vein growing through a fingernail as a child. That was a very strange thing. They fixed it in much the same way (by removing the nail) only they had to actually cut and stitch up the vein first. I was pretty young, so I don't remember it in too much detail, but it seemed really surreal to me at the time the doctor was doing it.
I still feel like it hurts when I cut my fingernails, even though I know it doesn't.

Eww, that sounds painful and scary! It was interesting to watch the doctor remove the toe nail but then it wasn't my toe he was working on..lol She is fine by the way and milking it for all it's worth. Giving me the big doe eyes and the honey can you do this or get me that. I love her so of course I am babying her...lol

Haha it's good to hear she's doing well! And what are ouches for if not getting babied for a bit???
I guess my problem must have been painful and scary at the time, especially since I still feel a little trepidation about fingernails. Luckily for me the memory itself is pretty vague.

LOL, yeah that is about all ouches are good for! The mind is wonderful that way it blocks out those kind of memories so that we can continue life without being is constant fear. :)
