I would have to say yes, although at the time I bought my computer I thought I was probably wasting my money. However I have been having problems with this computer and had to call them to get them resolved. Also, I was told that I would be able to replace the battery for free if it went dead or below a certain charge time before the warranty was up. I had to also call to get a restore and driver disc because it did not come with my laptop. I of course didnt realize I would be needing it. The guy at Circuit city told me all I would have to do to restore it was hit f10 or something like that I now need the hard drive replaced. I have no idea how much that would have cost me without the warranty. I am fairly certain it would be more then the cost of the restore disk and the warranty. Plus they are going to send me a box with to retreive the computer and a list of what I have to include in it. So with the high price of laptop computers I would have to say if you are considering buying a new computer or laptop then consider how much it would cost you to replace it or at least the hard drive.

That is a lot of money. You could probably just buy a new computer for all those costs.

No I could't. The laptops are so expensive. You cant get a new laptop computer for 180.00. Batteries for these are very expensive and you get a free replacement battery with this warranty when you need it. The warranty is going to replace the hard drive and I will be able to get a new battery. That will more then pay for what I had to pay for the warranty.

Yes, they are. Computer warranties are really a convenience to have because sometimes freak accidents just happen and on rare moments the peripherals you bought just doesn't work properly. Lime my mobo for example it kept on having bugs and I wanted to flash it but decided to show it to the shop where I bought it. No questions asked they replaced it.

I am very glad I bought my warranty now. I really at the time thought it was a big waste of money but it is turning out to pay for itself. Thank you for your comment.
