YOUR vocabulary

the BEST way to improve for your vocabulary is to read a lot & watch educational game shows. most often times we will encounter words that we're not familiar with. the longest word that i know has 45 letters but i couldn't remember the word. bear with me pls? i encountered that word years back in a game show which rates so much til now. i still watch this show since you can also learn from it.

Since I started blogging, I learned the art of using variety of words. Every time I encounter unfamiliar words, I usually look it up in the dictionary and constantly apply it. I also have a mini-notebook which contains words I encounter with their definitions. Then when I have free time, I review their meanings. I agree that reading is the best way to extend your vocabulary, of course it should come along with application of the learned words. It will stick to your mind most definitely.

I do feel that reading will help to extend your vocabulary. And it is very helpful when you want to learn things to. Usually we will find that the greatest things are written in books.

yep definitely reading...even if you don't understand the word at first because you are seeing it incontext you will later recognise it whe encountering it again and be like "oh yes i no that word..." hence extend vocab...lol im so ...silly
