Sexism with computers.

Why is it that there is such sexism in regards to computers? I mean why do men find it hard to believe that a woman can be successful on a computer? i can take apart any computer and put it back together from the top of my head. I can repair people's operating systems and programs.
And yet, I am always getting the shaft, especially from male customers when they find out I am a woman, and I do know my way around a computer.
Why is that?

its not just computers, hon, its any job that doesn't entail women in a subservient position. Ask a female med student, or a female lawyer. They get the same thing all the time. its sad, but until women like you who CAN do things stand up to these men, it won't change. PS. when they complain or act rude, simply 'break' their computer by pulling one little wire or plug, and see how quick they appologize and suck up.
