Sanford and Son, Good Times. The Jeffersons - Which Is Your Favorite?

TV Land is my favorite channel on television. They show reruns of some great Black comedies like Sanford and Son, Good Times and The Jeffersons.
It's a hard decision, but I think Sanford and Son is my favorite of the three. Fred, Esther, Rollo, and Bubba are too funny.
Do you watch these shows? And do you have a favorite Black comedy?

Oh Esther was a pistol. I loved her the best on that show. With her words she could cut you in pieces. LOL I think my favorite was the Jeffersons, Florence was fierce. Would have love to seen a showdown between Florence and Esther. Hahaha. Do you remember Room 222? Oh man, we are old!

I remember Room 222. I just did a search on it. It ran from 1969-1974. There were 112 episodes and it starred Lloyd Hayne and Denise Nicholas.
A showdown between Florence and Esther would be a classic.

I love sanford & son. my 14 year old sometimes sits and watches with me. I like when he says "its the big one im commin to join you.

Sanford and Son is a classic comedy. And it's not unusual to hear people, who weren't even born when the show came out, say that it is their favorite show.
That tells you how good the show is.

We love all of those shows, but probably The Jeffersons the most. Last night we watched Florence as she signed up to find a husband through a dating service. Watching her make her video to attract a man was hilarious.
We are also fans of Mama's Family but you were just comparing Black comedies. I wish they would make some shows of lasting value like those now days and leave all the deafening background music out.
Sometimes I find myself getting all tensed up and wondering why. Finally I realize it is because they have been playing one annoying note as background music (?) for the last 90 seconds. Grr.

I loved them all...especially sanford and son. I like alot of the old tv shows, reminds me of when I was younger, unfortunately how much things have changed for the worst now...tv is not the same anymore; too much "bootie" and violence on tv.

Television has changed. That's why TV Land is my favortie station. They are going to have a Good Times marathon coming up soon.
Can't wait to see "KID DYNAMITE".
