Poker games

Consistently winning will involve poker skills. It will take several years to develop these skills fully. But if you think luck has nothing to do with it, you will very disappointed. But skill will overcome the luck element over the long run.

I honestly think it's 80% luck 20% skills. But I have to face it when I look at the repeat champions of poker games. Can someone really be so lucky so many times? Maybe it's just that I am a layman and there are really some real skills that need to be picked up when you compete professionally in poker.

I think luck plays a big part in it. Now when I want to play online poker I first play three games on solitaire to see if lady luck is with me if I get 2 out of 3 I play if not I wait a few hours and try again. Silly I know but it works for me.
