Are mosquito coils effective in killing mosquitoes? or can they cause more harm than good? i read in an article** that the smoke of mosquito coils may contain pollutants of health concern and that the emission of formaldehyde from burning one coil can be as high as that released from burning 51 cigarettes. Based on this, then i think that mosquito coils should actually be banned. **http://www.ehponline.org/docs/2003/6286/abstract.html

Currently mosquito coils are used in most countries. and indeed there are many reports abt the harmful effect of mosquito coils. Why dont you purchase some mosquito repellent that is non toxic and organic.... like Antimos? http://www.antimosonline.com
