value of my" Fender" Guitar which is probably 45-55 years old

I have a fender guitar which was given to my mom when she was 13.It is dark brown on the back and sides and beige on the front. The serial number is: 7824145 and the Model number is : FJ-70 . I would really like to know exactly how old it is and what the value of it is. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend you research the model number on ebay, to determine a value. Thats what I normally do. You can search under completed items, and also under items that are currently for sale. This way you can determine by the ending price of the guitars what yours is worth. Hope that helps!
