I have a full Sheltie with papers, but not for breeding. A friend of mine says she doesnt care if the puppies would have papers or not, she just wants to breed her full female Sheltie with my male. I am not sure about this, as I feel there are way too many unwanted dogs and puppies put to death each day. Should I let her breed them or refuse his "services"?

If the female dog is not good according ot the standard i would not bother to breed. There are lots of unwanted dogs and in sanctuaries that need homing.

I'm not one who agrees with puppy mills or forced breeding. I wouldn't lend my dog to breed for the sake of breeding. But thats just me, I know alot of people who do, and they don't mind making money. I have adopted as well and thats a alternative.

If you feel there are to many unwanted pets as there is. Than I would tell your friend no and why. I would stick with your values and beliefs. If this person is really your friend. They would understand that and have no hard feelings.

Please don't do this. We don't need more puppies in this world. Plenty of Shelties die daily because of stupidity like this. I hope you make the right choice when you realize millions of animals are killed each year.

You should refuse your friend and tell him that dogs can't be borrowed and they really aren't.You should tell him that if he wants another puppie he should buy it from your local animal shelter or from a dog store.Hope this helps you take a good decision.Bye bye.
