Should women propose marriage?

I come from a long line of strong women. Women who go after what they want and do not take care of the traditional roles of women. In saying this, do you feel that women should propose, or is that a traditional role that should only be held by men?

I know! I don't know what I would have done had he said no! I probably would have run as far and as fast as I could! Strong women create stronger men!

Yes,After marriage,Both will be partners.
Both are equal.If she has strong feelings for him.
Not she should, but she must propose.That is her right.

I did propose, almost 3 and a half years ago. And I am happy to say that he said yes... after we had been together for almost 5 years. Men are just slow sometimes!
