Do you still daydream?

Do you remember when you first fell in love and you constantly thought about your lover? You went over in your mind every detail of the last time you were together. Do you still do that? I have been married for almost 10 years, together for 13. When my husband and I have a really wonderful intimate encounter, I find myself playing it over and over again in my mind. At 44 years of age and being together all this time, am I childish to still think this way? Is this too high school or am I really just so in love with my husband? What do you think?

I day dream about my girl all the time, unless ofcourse im preoccupied and i already have something over on my mind. Im deeply in love and i cant help but think about her and our beautiful relationship. I think its alrite to day dream about someone whom you love no matter what age you are.

I haven't done that in so long but good for you for having a nice experience to daydream about. When I was younger if I went somewhere and had a great time even like a dance, wedding, you name it. I would daydream the next day and want to relive it. I know it may sound corny but it's true. Good for you though!!

So long as life atleast for myself I can say that I will keep on daydreaming. Dreaming about your beautiful moments is such a beautiful passtime and it pleases you as well.I am also 42 but daydreaming is a beautiful gift that God has given us so if you daydream then i think there is nothing wrong in it.

I don't see how anyone could call it childish, Patgalca. The very idea that anyone would think of it that way would break my heart! I think that love is the most beautiful thing in the world. Hearing that you still daydream about your husband warms my heart *so* much I can't even tell you. Knowing that you've been together for that long and you still think of him that way is such an amazing thing. I would give my left arm to have someone who loved me that much. It's all that I wish for in life.

Thanks, shywolf. I hope that some day you too will experience the feeling. I just thought it was weird at my age to be daydreaming about such a thing. LOL!

Yah, specially the happy moments with my ex bf. But now, I'm dreaming with the real man that I love. I want to see him everyday when I wake up from my bed. He's going to our home even if it is raining.

Good for you! I certainly wouldn't call it "childish." Rather, I'd say you're very fortunate to be in a relationship that still has such authentic feelings after 13 years. I'd say "enjoy your daydreams as often as you can!"

Sweet! I think it's cool, so many years and you still feel that way. Congratulations, and no, you're not being childish.
