from my exp..... its really toughest job to travel daily in mumbai trains i hate to travel in buses cause in buses it bumps a lot due to pot holes also it takes more time to travel by bus so i prefer train , cause thats the only means of travel also the cost of ticket is cheaper in trains

i don't consider it as a very good experience. but i'll also want every indian to experience the unique ride in the mumbai local trains, considered to be its lifeline. when i was new to this train, i tried to get down much before the train actually stopped. i was wearing high-heels and i fell down from the train. the tracks were only inches apart from me.such incidents keep happening. there have been lots of mishap and deaths too. but there's no choice for mumbaikars. only if the trains weren'e crowded, i would have loved the ride always..and then loved mumbai too!

It is a horrible experience rather than a ride,my friends and relatives are travelling by train since quarter sentuary, hates of to them.Bravo,my brother and my sister in law.I respect them for they are performing their duties in officies, they are travelling in these train everyday.

I think its not the best of things mumbai has... the crowded trains are nothing to be proud of... its just because the administration have failed to give proper infrastructure to the local trains and now people have to suffer the agony of travelling in it...

yes everyone should experience that train ride.By that we can experience the toughest journey. Most of the people hanging at the doors, fighting for a place to sit, trying to catch the handlers..... Its really a great experience....

Are you being sarcastic???? Instead i would advise everyone to stay away from mumbai's local trains. Only one ride in the trains during peak hours is enough to make u stay away from them for your whole life- the crowd which is crushing, the sweat, the stink , the jostling, the worst part are those bhajan singing groups who make a bad ride worse with their hoarse shouting. In conclusion these locals are not for the faint-hearted!!!
