it was fortunate enough & a privilege for me to be able to study in saint jude catholic school, a Chinese school. that's beside the malacaƱang palace. now, i'm married & have 2 kids, still i can practice my chinese grammar, i can write, sing & speak. i can also write using chinese brush with chinese ink (MWO CHR). whether it's TA KAI or SIAO KAI. whenever i apply for a job i get easily hired. maybe it's an edge that i can speak, write & read Chinese Mandarin. all of my other siblings were sent to chinese schools. the eldest was sent to ICA & the rest in saint jude catholic school.

Hey! I'm glad to see that there's an SJCS alumni here too! I just graduated from there two years ago. The smell of ta kai and siao kai is still fresh to me. :) Hopefully knowing those things that we learned at SJCS will really give me an edge.

I'm from SJCS too! Don't ask me what year though! LOL. My husband and I plan to enroll our son there when it's time for him to go to school. I believe that my stay in SJCS was very fruitful and I want my son to have all the advantages that I had by studying there.

Wow! Prestigious schools. You are right, finishing college from those schools is really an edge in any employment. Now I am thinking to send my son in a Chinese School near our place, it's nice to know different languages. I am hoping I can send him there to have a good foundation.
