Is valentine day a fake, what is the story?

Before Christ a day for young people for choosing a loving one that date was February 15, but we celebrate Valentine Day on Feb. 14. Moreover Encyclopedia Britanica 15th Issue Volume-10, page 336 say Saint Valentine has no involvement in valentine day, it is a story. So is valentine day is fake or just people maked this day following Feb. 14 when Romans was celebrate a day on 15 Feb. for lovers to choose their loving persons.

I think Valentine's day is just another commercialism, just like Mother's day, Father's day, Secretaries Day, etc, etc. I think in the U.S.A. they went really silly with this and filled up the entire calendar.

Well, I didn't know that. I think it is just a day that someone made up to get candies and flowers. I guess they wanted to know that they were loved or something.
