It really depends on the situation and the mood I'm in. If I'm studying, working, relaxing or tired then I'm more likely to have my music on softly as some background noise. If I'm in a happy, bouncy mood then it will be up loud. If I'm driving on a freeway, I have something for loud music. On the other hand when I'm just on suburban roads I'll have it soft as I like to hear what is going on around me.

Listening to music too loud can damage your hearing. Therefore, I listen at normal listening volume. I have been known to turn up the volume a bit for a favorite song or two. Must be mindful of the damage you could be doing to yourself. Teaching my kds so that they can learn sign language to communicate with all the people who end up deaf due to ipods etc damage.

Man I simply thrive on Music. For me it's like a second nature. Methinks I can't live without it. Music 4 me knows no bondage, whether of language or borders. It speaks a universal language of rhythm and thus trancedes whatever physical borders come across .My fav artists are Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore, RD Burman,Md. Rafi, Mehdi Hassan, Jagjit, Ghulam Ali .Well I must stop otherwise the list can go endlessly.
