Is Referral Links Appropriate ?

In the time I have been posting on Mylot, I have seen a lot of referral links in other posts. Some don't even aplly to the subject.
Yet when I click the terms link at the bottom of the oage, I see under prohibited:
f. provides any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URLs or email addresses
k. involves commercial activities and/or sales without our prior written consent such as contests, sweepstakes, barker, advertising, or pyramid schemes.
What do you think ?
