Anyone have a preference of one over the other? I wonder why Prevacid doesn't work as well for me as Aciphlex seems to.

Is Aciphlex a prescription medication? My boyfriend uses Prevacid but it doesn't seem to work very well for him so he's always on the look out for something better.

Yes, Aciphlex is a prescription medication, I received samples from my Gastroenterologist. It does seem to work, I am feeling better, but I was told it takes up to a month to work. I didn't give Prevacid a fair chance to work on me, I took it occasionally when I should have taken it daily. I don't know how long it's suppose to take to work. You may want to ask the doctor (nurses seem helpfull too.)

Sorry, I've been misspelling my medication...It's called Aciphex. I've been taking it for about 3 weeks now.
