Prevacid Vs Aciplex...

Anyone have a preference of one over the other? I wonder why Prevacid doesn't work as well for me as Aciphlex seems to.

Is Aciphlex a prescription medication? My boyfriend uses Prevacid but it doesn't seem to work very well for him so he's always on the look out for something better.

Yes, Aciphlex is a prescription medication, I received samples from my Gastroenterologist. It does seem to work, I am feeling better, but I was told it takes up to a month to work.
I didn't give Prevacid a fair chance to work on me, I took it occasionally when I should have taken it daily. I don't know how long it's suppose to take to work. You may want to ask the doctor (nurses seem helpfull too.)
