caritas kuki is just a newly founded charitable organization. Kukis are the most undeveloped ethnic group and the least of the tribes in Myanmar. We are striving for our young generation's future. I am Fr. Anthony Hemsei the only priest of the tribe. I am trying hard now to convince my people to be self reliant. We started self reliance development program since 2003. With our own small fund, we have been running for transient hoiuse for the sick and the poor students and travellers at Kalaymyo town where the only specialists for medical treatment is available. We have to make transpotation by bysicle and on foot. The transportation fee is very high for the poor sick people. For them, we badly need a car.
