Do you ever have one of those days.............

........... where everything goes wrong? From the moment you get up, every silly little thing conspires against you! So far today I have dropped a hot cup of tea all over my carpet, spilt a pint of milk, broken a nail, my computer has crashed (though thankfully OK at the moment!), and one of my cats bought me a nice "present" in the shape of a rat :( So do you have days like this too? Tell me about yours.

Don't let this get you down. If you're already telling yourself it will be a bad day than yeah, that's a bad start. As someone else mentioned, try to find something that will make you laugh. Call someone up and plan something. Don't let the bad things grow onto you. I really hope your day doesn't continue the way it's started, you can still avoid it. ;) Well, I've had my share of bad days too. Well, actually last week was one that was horrible. I was sick yet I forced myself to go to school so I wouldn't miss out on any lessons. Every morning I felt tired. My toe hurt that whole week since I had stubbed it against a corner. It was swollen up and I could barely walk on that foot. It was snowing outside and I was freezing up everytime I dared take a step out there... Basically, I felt horrible. :P Now that I think about it, I feel selfish for complaining. While others are living difficult lives in third world countries I'm moaning because I was sick. But I'm getting too off topic now so I'll shut up and stop rambling on and on. Once again, I hope your day gets better.

I think the cat was at the bottom of all those schemes. The cat made you drop the tea and spill the milk. The cat bit you finger nail off and was fiddling with the insides of you computer last night. Its not one of those days, its a huge conspiracy by your cat. Does it ever sit at the other side of the room and look at you with evil eyes? There's your answer.

When something goes wrong in the morning lots of the things goes wrong after taht all the day, it happens to me sometime. I guess evryone experiences this at soem point of time. Few days ago we got our car down in the morning, sometime after in that day I got bumped little bad and in the evening my huby was suffering from toothache. That was the horrible day of this year. As it's the begining of the year I was starting to think that the whole year will go wrong. But now I am feeling little good about the year:).

Well Rosie I would say that today everything is not coming up Rosie. :) I think on those days you need to keep track of the things that mess up so you can go for a record that next. Make it challanging. As long as you didn't cry over the spilt milk you will do fine. I do have days like that and usually I just have to laugh, getting frustrated usually doesn't help, so laughing sometimes turns things around.

Yes - laughter is sometimes the best remedy. And no - I didn't cry! Just said some very rude words, that wouldn't be allowed on MyLot!!

Yes, I just had one of these last week i'll tell you the story right now. Last weak i woke up and decided to have a bowel of cereal. So I wanted to bring it upstairs so I could watch TV while eating it. As im going upstairs i trip and my cereal and milk spill all over the stairs that are carpet. Then i look back and I see my bowl tumbeling and crashing to the ground and it shattered. Then i walked to get the broom and I stepped on a piece of glass. After like an hour and a half i got the milk our of the carpet and swept all the glass up. It was a pretty bad day from then on. Since that accident happened I noticed I missed the show I wanted to watch right when I got upstairs it was ending...just my luck...Bad luck. lol.

Yes, every so often I have one of those, usually starts off with spilling beverages, to breaking something to eventually hurting myself in some sort of mishap. I always wonder if I am affected by the moon when these mishaps happen, but have come to realize it is just me going to fast for my body and mind and perhaps I should slow down and enjoy life at better pace.

yes there are a few such days in my memory. One such day started with late getting up for the college.Late for the classes and bike being puncture. Scolded at the college for not submission of the assignment.Met with an accident back to the home. When tried to forget all these by a cup of coffee then soon it was all over me because of my brothers mischief. Really the day was too bad. I pray to god to not give me any such day again.

I hate those kind of days... It seems like everyone and everything is trying to mess with you. Even an alarm clock seems to mess with you by going off, or not going off, when you needed it or didn't need it.

yep. that simple alarm clock example is great. if it does not work as expected, will totally ruin someone's schedule for the entire day. happened to me many times.

Oh my, yes my day normally starts out I end up with my coffee in my lap, the child loses a tooth and decides to let the blood stream out of her mouth and go anywhere it wants, ended up with a virus on my computer and had to get a new one, every thing I pick up I drop, on top of that, I am hormonal and well the whole day is shot. But later in the day I finally try to settle down and then only then does my day get worse, can't sleep at all because I drank too much caffiene.

yes, it happens all the time, i ve had bad days! i have them more often than good ones..lol its just that feeling you get, that nothing is gonna get right today! once i had to reach somewhere on time, my driver turned up late, then on our he banged the car into some one else's, then we fought n i had to pay for his repairs! then when i reached there, the guy i was supposed to meet dint turn up! i left my lunch at home, dint eat the whole day, reached back home at night! had a bad internet connection, so i just turned my comp off.. went off to sleep!! but the fact is that between those bad days, we get a few good ones too.. and thats when we need to enjoy ourselves and thank god for it! :) thats what i do, and thats how i survive!

Every once in awhile I have that. I get up in the morning late, get yelled at on the phone, run to the bathroom and stub my toe, mess up my makeup then am late to everything for the rest of the day. Of course, it never fails, I can't seem to find a parking spot to top that off. Those are the kinds of days I'd rather stay home.

yes i m also superstitious about these small things.....as the proverb goes 'morning shows the day'...if something goes wrong in the morning...it sets me back for the whole day..and things keep on going wrong....

i rather think i have one of those lives, lol...but yes, i think we all have those days. humor certainly helps, and a few curse words for good measure at times, and remembering that it won't last, at least you hope not. just watching the cats should be quite humerous at times, i have two. good luck and tomorrow will be better...hugs
