Where do you get your news?

I used to have the newspaper delivered to my house everyday but now I just go on-line. Generally I look to see what Yahoo has to say in the headlines. If something looks interesting then I will explore it further. For local news I am still at the t.v. at 6pm.

lol, I have to say I get most of my news from mylot. I very seldom turn on the television or the radio so unless my friends happen to be discussing something that happened or I'm here at mylot, I don't usually hear the news. Occasionally if I'm in the car at the right time, I'll hear what's going on, but other than that it doesn't happen very often.

I lost interest in newspapers a long time ago, they tend to cater for the gossip loving public and have ceased to be interested in what is really important. Many significant events take place across the globe every day, and are lucky if they appear in a single column on page 7. Whereas an event such as a cast member from a soap opera being seen in a night club with a pop singer will get front page headlines and 3 pages of pictures, which does not interest me in the slightest. I ocassionally watch the main news on television, but even then there is a lot of gossip mixed in with the genuine news.

I get my news online. I have a few websites I'll check regularly, and get both local and national/world news. And for television news stations... eh, I stick with The Daily Show. It's one of the more accurate of broadcasts, which says a whole lot about American newscasting right there.

I am not big on listening to the news or reading a newspaper , so when I hear the news is from either my husband (who watches the news quite a bit ) or from friends that have heard of something that happened recently .

I normally watch sky news in the morning whilst having my coffee, then again at night before i go to bed however my homepage on the computer is set to skynews so i view the news as the day goes on and i also have skynews desktop alerts so i get breaking news at an instant. I think from the recent terror attack around the globe i have become more addicted to having to know what is going on. Its all quiet frightning really.
