In all the discussion and responses I have seen I cannot find an answer to my question.
I lost $1.71 which equals approx. 171 deleted discussions which seems kind of high for me personally to have had the misfortune of answering so many controversial discussion and that amount just happens to be 10% of my total points. Can anyone explain to me if that is just a coincident or what???

I understand what you are saying but... I think it is probably just a coincidents that it's 10%. However.. since we don't know anything about the algorithm that mylot uses we couldn't know for sure. Also I know that we don't get paid the same for each post. So It could be you only lost a few responses and they were worth more?? Did you actually lose points or just money ?? I don't keep track well of my points so unless I lost alot I wouldn't notice a couple. I hope this helps a little.

Thanks at least you did't tell me to read the rules. I lost the money and I have the feeling I am getting on my friends' nerves with my discussion topic but they don't have to respond if they dont want to.

i also lost some earnings, but i think it because were they deleted some of the discussion i responed to..i looked an i didnt see were yours or mine discussion were deleted.so it must be someone we have on our friend list that we response to their discussion that got deleted.i wish there was a way were we can tell why that happens.or they need to send us a alert saying a discussion had been deleted.this would save alot of guessing as to what happen to our earnings.

MyLot does as they please. We cannot get a straight answer from them. All they ever say, if you are forturate to hear from them, is "read the rules." I lost $11.00 owed to me, without an explaination. I don't know if you will get an anwswer that is right, I wish I could help you more. Blessings, M&M
I am sorry that happened to you, it's not really fair.

If you paid attention to all the discussions that have been going on around here for the last few days, you'd know that mylot made a lot of adjustments, mostly deleting spam and other kinds of discussions that are against the rules. So, if you lost that much money, you've been picking the wrong discussions to reply to. Or maybe some of yours were deleted.
If you're only getting a penny per post, you might do better on some other site, or maybe read up on how to improve your earnings. I make anywhere from just under two cents to a little over two cents a post. With no referrals.

Thanks for your advice so I checked your profile to see what was worth 2 cents a post but unfortunately I did not see anything to inspire me. Your discussions got very few reponses and your best answers were from discussions that had from 1-8 responses so these are pretty easy to get don't you think? I have received some responses that earned over 4 cents.

Obviously, since I don't start many discussions I have to be getting paid for my replies, right? And since I only have about seven best responses, I must be getting paid for something else, don't you think? The fact is that I'm getting two cents a post and you're getting one. It's up to you whether you want to get more, and blowing off what I said may make you feel better, but it won't increase your earnings.
