Green tea contains polyphenols, vitamins and minerals than any other type of teas. The four polyphenols found in greent tea are called catechins. Catechins are powerful anti-oxidants that have been proven in various studies to fight viruses and slow aging. What's more aside from slowing aging it helps in burning fats thus helping in weight loss. Read about it here: www.japanesegreenteaonline.com/health.htm and http://gojapan.about.com/cs/japanesedrink/a/greenteabenefit.htm

Green Tea is not liked by many people due to its high cost. I am a distributor for Tea (dust and leaf), but Green tea is a expensive one only selected people buy and they always use the Green Tea. I also use green tea, I still do not know in what way it helps healthwise. Can any mylotian who uses green tea, explain the usefulness of this leaf tea.
