Scam or not

I recived an email in my yahoo account yesterday that says I have won $500 from yahoo and all I need to do is sign up with yahoo games and then $500 will be directly deposited into my patpal account. Is this a scam ? The email looks like it is from yahoo even from admin.yahoo.com.

I've heard of some e-mails looking like their the real deal when they're actually a scam. I'd find it weird that yahoo would give you $500.00 just to sign up for their games. Sounds fishy. I wouldn't risk it. And I'd also send an e-mail to yahoo about it.

If it sounds too good to be true then it is! It's a scam. Don't give them any information about yourself or your Paypal account, and don't sign up for anything. How could you have "won" something that you didn't even enter to win? Forward the email to Yahoo and they will investigate it. These types of scams go around frequently with Yahoo.

that sounds like pure scam , if you win anything you don't have to sign up for anything,otherwise it is not winning .
Be careful and forward the email to yahoo so they can further investigate.

It is a scam for sure. I received this kind of e-mail for many times already.
Please be aware not to send them any money or infromation, if not, you will be in trouble.
