I have a bread machine but have not used it yet. This sounds yummy, and may inspire me to try the bread maker out. Thank you for posting this.

Oh, margie I am so glad I checked my emails before I went to bed. I have printed out this recipe and I will add it to my folder. I have no chocolate chips but I will get some to-morrow and have the bread baked before my husband gets home from work. My son is also coming to visit us to-morrow, so they are both in for a suprise. Thanks a million for posting it. You're an angel.

I have heard of a lot of kinds of bread but never chocolate chip bread. Being a real chocoholic, I suppose I will have to get out my seldom used bread machine. It does sound delicious. My mother used to put chocolate chips in pancakes once in a while for a treat, and all the kids in the family loved them. Do you use jelly, or some other kind of spread? It sounds as though it would be good with almost anything. Peanut butter, yummmm.

I like to toast it and then spread peanut butter or butter on it.

Just found this posting...Ooooohhh this sounds so good. I am definetly giving this one a try tomorrow after the kids are off to school. My youngest is a fanatic over breads and this would be a great after school snack warmed with some peanut butter. Thanks for sharing this one!
