Do you ever wake up feel that things are just generally going south. I seem to feel that the individuals out and about are in a sort of gloom palace, without a single clue that there is a way to clear their way through life. General depression or self loathing?

Hi, I am referring to the way people carry themselves, the self worth that they portray. The way they work etc. This is a bit of a broad topic, I am referring to the attitudes of folks out there. I appears that a lot of what I seem to see is a downward spiral of morals and ethics. I am not only referring to the ever increasing crime stats, but to the more mundane events. For example: service in restuarants, when you sit down to have a meal, you have chosen to spend your money at an establishment that is in turn to provide you with satisfactory service. Have you had any experiences where you felt that the "scales of good and kind" were very underweight? - I hope this better explains the idea behind the discussion.
