I think the engaged age should be more than twenty.

Correct age for marriage of girl is between 22-25 years and for boys, between 25-30. Engagement can be one or two years earlier to this age. This is the age by which they are mentally, physically, financially mature enough to lead their life properly.

I feel that it all depends on the people and their situation. The couple could be young but very mature and they could have their families support and that would be fine or there could be a young couple who just want to get married out of spite or just for the heck of it. I thinks it's alright to get engaged at any time but it's when you get married that matters. My husband and I dated for about a year and a half before we got married and I wish we had waited longer to get married. I wasn't neccesarily too young but there are a lot of things that happen after marriage. It's not all romance and roses...at least it hasn't been for us. There is no way of telling how things are going to be after marriage.

I would not say there is persay a "Correct" age, but I feel people should wait atleast until they are of legal age. I would say 21-25. Atleast give yourself time to finish college. But that depends also. If you go to different colleges miles apart it could be very hard. If you are in the same college it could be a good thing. But being engaged does not mean being married. So you could be engaged to the same person all through college and plan to get married upon completion.
