How many days a week do you usually sit down and have a family dinner? Do you pray before your dinner? Tell us what makes this time special to you.

we try to do the family dinner scene as much as possible but its difficult during the week cos of diffrent wokr schedules. We however manage a bout 3 times in a week. We use the time to catch up on different things happening in our lives, jobs, etc..its so much fun..

My husband and I sit down to dinner together about 6 nights a week. It's a time for us to catch up on the other's day, relax, and enjoy good food.

That's good. A lot more often than most of us meet up with our familys at dinner.

At least five days out of the week, we sit down and have a family dinner, the other two nights my children are usually with their father so this makes it impossible. We don't say grace before we eat as we are not really all that religious but this is the time we use to tell each other how our days went. It's quality time spent as a family and I will continue to do it for as long as I can.

Yeah it will get harder as the kids get older to sit down with them every night but it is fun when you can. We are religious we just have gotten out of the habbit of praying before our meals.

I try to have family dinner about 3-4 times per week. For me it's special because it's relaxing. Enjoying eating and talking or watching a show together. Or even making the meal is a good way to spend time.

That sounds alot like us. We either are talking or watching the same tv show. We usually are only able to have it three or four days a week, but we enjoy those few days. I really like it because it is relaxing and you can just tell them about your day or problems your having.

We don't often share a family dinner during the week because most of my siblings come home late. During the weekends some eat out with friends. But the few times that we are lucky to be home and share dinner, we still spend it as catching up with one another. We do pray and eat and talk.

Sounds very similar. Our dinners vary from 3-5 people. Most nights it's four, but we really enjoy catching up with eachother like you said when all my siblings are there.
