Has anyone heard about the thing going on in California where they are trying to pass a thing where all pit bulls have to be put down. I saw something about it on myspace today... but i mean it IS myspace so I wasn't sure if it was true or not. Has anyone seen it?

I haven't heard this...but usually this is called a breed ban. It's where they ban certain breeds (usually "pit bulls") from being allowed in whatever area the law is for. If the law is passed, you either have to move, give your dogs to someone outside of the area that the law is passed or give your dogs over to authorities to be put to sleep. This is what law makers think will handle dog bites...but most of the dogs being put to sleep are dogs that have never done anything to anyone.
