Rachel Ray's Talk Show

Any fans? I personally have loved all her shows on food network, but I can't say I am as thrilled about her new talk show. I love her personality, her tips and tricks and the way she is just fun to watch, however, I get really annoyed when she is talking to her guests. She needs to quiet down a little and let them talk more. She tends to interrupt them alot and that is a pet peeve of mine. What do you think?

The new show leaves alot to be desired, I like her shows on Food Network better, and what really annoys me is the way she says abbreviates everything like EVOO and then says it the long way any way. I would take her Food networks show over her new one anyday.

I agree with you. I do still watch the new show once or twice a week to see if she is getting in her element on it, but so far I am not really pleased. Though I will say, she keeps having this great magician, justin kredible, he is pretty fun to watch.

I did watch the latest one with him on, I am not sure though if this show will last as long as her other ones have though. She just seems out of her element on this one.

Yes, I agree, she doesn't seem as comfortable or at home as she does on food network.

I love it. It is a lot of fun, and she has the greatest personality. My son who is 18 months old will watch it too! So for an hour each day we watch it together and cuddle on the couch. I love all her tips, and especially her recipes.

Yes, her tips are usually pretty good and she has an awesome personality, I just don't like the way she can't let the guests finish talking, she has to jump in. But it is truly how she is, I have seen her carry on great conversations with herself on food network. Thanks for the reply!

Yea I've noticed that! I think she likes to hear herself talk and she likes being in the spotlight. I'm sure the guests don't mind though. I know if I were on the show, she could punch me in my face and I'd still be happy! haha

I haven't seen her new show yet, but I enjoy watching her on the food channel. Maybe she should have stuck with that?

You would have to go to the website and look it up in your state, it varies from place to place. It is on in the afternoons on NBC for me here in Texas, but it might be different for you.

I do like her talk show and I love the tips and tricks that she gives, and also love the special guest that she has on. But I agree with you, she does interrupt her guest alot. She needs to back off a little more, and allow them to talk.

It varies from state to state I think. It would be on one of your network stations, check for a rachel ray website, it can tell you what channel.

I like the show a lot. She keeps things moving, and every show is packed with new things. The one negative comment I have is: I could make 30 minute meals, too, if someone cut up all the veggies, etc. for me.

True, most of her stuff is chopped and measured on there, but on food network she does all the work, so I know it can be done. Thanks for the reply!
