the hard part of mathematics to me was calculus. but as i realized that calculus is important and has big influent to the world then i tried hard to enjoy it. i tried hard to understand it then i got B in the uni final exam after that. so i found mathematics is challenging but not that hard as long as you understand and it not only 'memorize' it. deal?

i also find math really hard. i don't get a grade higher than 85 when i was in high school, except when i was in fourth year. i find it very hard everytime we have to compute, and analyze numbers.

It depends on what kind or what part of math that we find difficult. I find addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to be very easy but geometry and trigonometry are very difficult and had problems with those while I was in school as well. Being an instructor, I notice a lot of people have a difficult time with fractions as well. I had problems with fractions too but am much better at that now. If you are anyone else is interested in learning how to do better at math here is a website that can help you or your children learn to do math better. http://www.webmath.com/

I myself is not good in math. I'm finding a hard time understanding about Algebra and Trigonometry. Let me share you my story...I was in 3rd year highschool when my nightmare came. All my grades were high and I'm hoping to be an honored student but, I was not included in the honors list because eventhough my average is very high my Math subject is line of 7, 79% to be exact. And it is in the school rule that if you get a line of 7 in any subject, you will have no chance in the honors list. I felt really bad that time.:( So, I tried even harder understanding Math subject. When I was in College already, I did well in my Math and got a 1.5. I'm really happy! Math is not that difficult after all! You need to devote alot of time to practice solving and thats the secret for passing it with flying colors.(",)

Math is the topic of choice for people who forget things quick. A history or English exam is probably going to require loads of memorization. However, in math, you only need to remember the concepts. When you study for math, don't focus on any specific problems. Do as many as you can, and as you move on to the next problem, forget about all the previous problems. As you solve a problem, you absorb a new "trick" to think about how to solve problems and you strengthen your "math muscle." We are subjective creatures who are forced think objectively when faced with math. For some people, being logical is... difficult. For those who aren't innately math prone, exposure is the key. Do MORE! And ask around about teachers. If you find the right teacher, you'll realize how much your learning experience can improve.

I find math pretty easy and straightforward. It all seems very logical and once you can master certain concepts, I think it is challenging and fun having to apply those to solve more difficult problems.

i used to be very good in maths when i was small but gradually i lost interest and it became harder as i grew up. i hated geometry and algebra. i think basic maths is okay, its even enjoyable like playing sudoku, but these complicated things just go over my head.

yeah..math's basic are simple and so easy to learn but when you reached high school and college...it became harder and harder that you cant understand it more..

I hate math and foreign languages. I like things that are concrete and just study this learn this and know it. I had a spanish teacher tell me once that they are both building classes and im not good at remembering what i learned before and applying it to the next lesson. so i just hate math
