I gave birth 2 1/2 months ago to our precious baby girl. I was wondering how to loose fast the extra weight and the bulges I gained during pregnancy. I still can't fit into my old clothes and its so frustrating and embarasing sometimes that I still wear maternity clothes.

Ok, i was skinny before i got pregnant, 5'6 and 115lbs. And i gained a lot of weight while i was pregnant. That's nearly 7 months ago. and i still cannot fit into my old clothes. now i dont excersize a lot or anything but i do a lot of walking, and i lost nearly 40 pounds of the weight. which i think is ok. but i FEEL your pain. i WISH i could fit into ANY of my old clothes again. but i dont wanna put money on it that i will ever fit into them again.

When I was pregnant I gain 33lbs. Now I have 10 lbs more to loose. I really really want to fit into my old clothes again!

Oh boy. I was the same way! Trust me Iknow it sucks. But your body is still trying to go back to the way it was before. Soon the weight will fall off. But when it gets warmer out pack her little booty up in the stroller and go on walks. That will help out a ton. And also when she gets older you will not have a chance to even slow down. Just today alone I feel like I ran a marathon. But during nap times do a little work out...but it is still early.Good luck and dont stress too much over it.

You've only given birth 2 1/2 months ago, don't pressure yourself too much.It takes time before all the pregnancy fats gets smaller. I only fit into my old clothes after 4 months but still up to now I have this bulge in my tummy. That's the hardest part to get rid of.You really need to exert a lot of effort exerising to get rid of that. You also need to watch what you eat.

Dear Alecxi, Congratulations on your baby. I did find, after giving birth to my children, that a good way to get rid of the "bulges" was to tap my lower abdomen for 5 minutes every morning after rubbing some body moisturising cream in. (I used Vaseline body cream, myself. Cheap and efficient...) I would tap hard enough to hear a slapping clap, keeping my hands flat and at a 90 degree angle. Hope that helps. In the meantime, just enjoy your baby regardless.

This is gonna seem a little crazy, but buy a girdle. Where it for about 3 to 4 hours a day, it won't help lose the weight but it will help tummy to get the flatness you use to have. Also drink lots of water instead of soda. Grapefruit juice can also help burn some fat. Walk around the neighborhood or park with your baby(if weather permits)not only are you getting the exercise your doing it with your little buddle of joy. Eat cereal and foods with high fiber in them, it will give you the energy you need to burn off those extra pounds.
